Project Manifesto was initiated in 2003 by Academy engineer Ole Trabjerg, electronics engineer Torben Bech and Per Dahl Nielsen, founder of AMPLI. Following initial calculations and measurements, development work on the unique custom drivers began in earnest.
Innovative thinking in materials selection and construction has been a key element at every step of the project. From the very beginning, our exalted sonic goals were clear and remained the guiding factor throughout the entire process.
Today, AMPLI maintains its own state of the art research and development and production facilities, with everything it takes to fulfil the lofty dream of this unique, all-Danish High End loudspeaker project.
From the very beginning, we set out to build uniquely Danish loudspeaker systems based on technology and styling that break away from convention in order to bring the listener closer to a live, you-are-there listening experience than ever before.
Years in the making, AMPLI loudspeakers are the result of groundbreaking research into every conceivable design principle and every possible configuration. Ongoing research and development in these and other areas will ensure that AMPLI loudspeakers remain on the leading edge in terms of technology, performance and reliability.
We will continue to develop and refine the best materials in collaboration with some of the leading experts in the fields of electronics and acoustics and, when a true breakthrough occurs, AMPLI owners will have immediate access to enhanced performance through our upgrade programme.
